KIOSK Summer Camp is an excellent opportunity to experience Canadian life. Students learn English and have fun at the same time.

KIOSK Summer Camp is a combination of in-class instruction and after-school activities. Students come from all over the world to learn, practice, and improve their English. Toronto, Ontario, Canada is a beautiful city, and can be the place for the adventure of a lifetime.

Each morning, students take intensive English as a second language classes. KIOSK teachers are qualified to deliver informative and dynamic lessons to all levels, including beginner, intermediate, and advanced. Each student takes a test to determine the level of English and then is placed in the appropriate class with students of a similar level. Grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, speaking, and listening classes help students improve all areas of their English.

After class, students enjoy exciting activities like sports, shopping, sightseeing, games, and more. Ontario has many things to offer, and students have the chance to visit important tourist destinations such as The C.N. Tower, The Toronto Zoo, Niagara Falls, Canada’s Wonderland, and The Royal Ontario Museum. KIOSK teachers and students also visit festivals and sporting events like Toronto FC Soccer, Toronto Blue Jays Baseball, Harbourfront Centre, and Ontario Place. On Saturdays, students take day trips to beaches, parks, theme parks, and other locations. Students have the chance to practice their English while having fun with their teachers and classmates.

Summer in the City

English & Activities - Ages 12-17

The Summer in the City Camp is located in the middle of all the excitement of downtown Toronto. Our city program offers the best option to learn English and experience life in Canada's largest city.

Students practice and improve their English while taking part in afternoon activities. In the evenings, they can eat, talk, and relax with their homestay families.

Package Includes

  • 20 hours per week of classroom English instruction
  • Exciting daily activities
  • Full day trips each Saturday to places such as Niagara Falls, Canada's Wonderland Amusement Park, and Toronto Island
  • Participation in Toronto's summer festivals
  • Continuous supervision and security
  • Transportation on the bus and subway in Toronto
  • Airport pickup and drop-off
  • Health insurance
  • All learning materials
  • Welcome and farewell receptions
  • A certificate upon completion of the course
  • Homestay accommodation including meals

Summer in the Village

English & Activities - Ages 12-17

KIOSK’s Summer in the Village campus is located in Streetsville, a beautiful and small community just outside Toronto. In this location, students have big city fun while still enjoying small town charm.

Students experience warm and welcoming homestay accommodation with carefully selected families.

Package Includes

  • 16 hours per week of classroom English instruction
  • Exciting daily activities
  • Full day trips each Saturday and once per week (Tuesday or Wednesday) to places such as Niagara Falls, Canada's Wonderland Amusement Park, and Toronto Island
  • Continuous supervision and security
  • Transportation
  • Airport pickup and drop-off
  • Health insurance
  • Welcome and farewell receptions
  • A certificate upon completion of the course
  • Homestay accommodation including meals

Homestay

  • Homestays are clean and spacious
  • Each homestay has been visited and inspected in advanced
  • KIOSK homestays are houses, not apartment buildings
  • All homestays are in close proximity to shopping plazas/malls, movie theatres, libraries, and parks
  • Students are provided breakfast before school, a packed lunch, and dinner in the evening

English for Success

KIOSK teachers are dedicated and have experience working with teenagers. As well, each teacher is a native speaker who is certified to teach English as a second language. Teachers help students:

  • Learn new grammar and vocabulary
  • Practice speaking and listening skills
  • Develop reading comprehension
  • Improve writing ability
  • Speak fluently and improve pronunciation
  • Gain confidence using English in all situations

In addition to KIOSK teachers, homestay families provide students with the opportunity to have conversation in English every night. As well, Toronto is the perfect place to meet friends and practice English.

Toronto is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. It is a multicultural city, which is shown in its many festivals and events. In summer, the weather in Toronto is warm and sunny, perfect for going to the park or beach. It is also a great place to learn English and have fun.

As well, visiting Canada gives students a chance to make friends from many different countries. These friendships last long after the summer is finished, and students enjoy staying in touch with their classmates from around the world.
