High Intermediate students will:
acquire a good structural knowledge of English language
use complex sentence structures and become familiar with idioms and slang from mixed media
develop in-depth vocabulary and communication skills through challenging readings, presentations and independent projects
emerge from this level with a unique personal style in language usage
Intermediate students will:
learn how to communicate accurately in more complex communication situations
study more challenging reading and listening materials to further linguistic and vocabulary development
use self-directed research assignments, class presentations, and on-going testing to prepare for entry into one of the three streams of specialization
Advanced students will:
master the complexities and subtleties of the English language
acquire confidence in applying language skills to all situations
function in the English speaking world around them and use sports idioms, professional jargon and other forms of advanced language usage
read, listen to and observe English in the broadest of contexts
graduate with near native fluency
